Insurance and Billing

My office will bill your insurance company as well as Medicare and Medicaid.
Your deductibles, coinsurances and co-pays will be collected at the time of your initial visit unless prior arrangements have been made.

Due to the insurance companies’ lack of familiarity with endoscopies, when you file for this procedure, you may encounter initial denials; these will be pursued with the help of my office staff.

We are aware that because of the numerous insurance plans available and the frequency with which they change, there are plenty of opportunities for honest and unintentional mistakes.  We understand that such instances may require further correspondence with the carriers so the appropriate adjustments can be made to your account.
However, it remains the responsibility of the patient to settle the account for all services rendered. If your insurance company does not cover a portion of your bill and states that it is NOT covered by contract, then that portion of the bill will be YOUR responsibility.

We strive to resolve all billing issues in a mutually agreeable fashion, so please be patient with us and trust my office staff to keep your best interests in mind.

Should you encounter any difficulties' with any of my office procedures, I would appreciate your bringing it to my attention so that I may correct the problem and improve my practice as a physician.
